This course presents the neurophysiology of verbal language, as well as its semantic and grammatical structure, and how this human capacity for communication generates a social environment of imagination and ideas shared across time and space.
It addresses the phenomenon of writing and presents the neural mechanisms of reading, explaining the different difficulties presented by people with dyslexia. Based on this knowledge, the course proposes methodologies and educational activities to assist in learning to read and write.

This course is aimed at elementary school teachers and aims to present, discuss and apply practical activities and pedagogical methods to help students develop their verbal communication, reading and writing skills. The entire course is based on neuroscience and education studies to present the neural and psychological mechanisms involved in learning language, reading and writing, and the development of linguistic expression.
The material created by the Synapse project is used to suggest activities and how to organize and apply them according to the needs of each classroom and each student, in a way that is contextualized with the reality and desires of the local population.
