This course presents the neurophysiology of verbal language, as well as its semantic and grammatical structure, and how this human capacity for communication generates a social environment of imagination and ideas shared across time and space.

It addresses the phenomenon of writing and presents the neural mechanisms of reading, explaining the different difficulties presented by people with dyslexia. Based on this knowledge, the course proposes methodologies and educational activities to assist in learning to read and write.
